Smoking Cannot Make You Mad- Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana

Radio Presenter and the new Tourism Ambassador of Ghana, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana has stirred the hornet of controversy with his stance on marijuana. He is asking that the government of Ghana should legalize marijuana.

He said there was a time he used to take marijuana and there was nothing like going mad when this substance is taken. “I used to smoke 'wee' a lot, I stopped because it was affecting my leg, and I used to get numbness in my left leg. It is not true that smoking 'wee' will affect your psyche, Marijuana will not affect your way of thinking" he said.

Surprisingly, some time ago, Santana said when he was awarded a doctorate degree “Nothing will really change about me I rather feel I have been empowered to do better and more of what I am already doing. The challenge to me is that I see myself now as an ambassador of Christ and I have to do everything according to the doctrine of the Christian religion but that notwithstanding, it is not going to change the way I present on radio or how I go about my daily activities. I am not a pastor”, he emphasized.

People are wondering if this is appropriate from someone who is representing tourism in a country.
