CLEVELAND — It’s LeBron James. It’s Game 7. It doesn’t get much better than that.
James will lead the Cavaliers into Game 7 against Golden State on Sunday, a chance for Cleveland to win the city’s first pro sports championship since 1964.
“Like I told you guys the other day, it's two of the greatest words in the world,” James said after leading Cleveland to a 115-101 win in Game 6 on Thursday. “And that's ‘Game 7,’ so I'll play it anywhere.”
James is 3-2 for his career in Game 7. That includes a 0-2 record in his first stint in Cleveland and a 3-0 record with Miami. This is James’ second Game 7 in the NBA Finals.
As for his line in Game 7, James averages 34.4 points per game on 47.4 shooting with 9.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists. He’s going to bring it Sunday.
